I’ve always been drawn to people. I ask a lot of questions — not because I have all the answers, but because I genuinely want to understand what drives someone, what they care about, and where they feel stuck.
During college, I completed four sales internships at companies big and small. Along the way, I had dozens of honest conversations with friends about their career paths — and what I kept hearing was uncertainty. Students were applying to internships without knowing what they wanted, feeling behind, and unsure how to stand out. The career center helped a little. So did online advice. But something was missing: personal guidance, practical tools, and real connection.
So I took a semester off from Clemson to build what I wished had existed.
That spring, I worked one-on-one with my first group of students. Over the summer, 100+ students enrolled in a course I created. In the fall, I recorded 129 personalized LinkedIn videos and coached more than 40 students — five of them deeply and consistently. I even adjusted my class schedule so I could keep showing up, listening, and helping students move from stuck to clear.
What surprised me most wasn’t just how many students needed help — it was how ready they were for a different approach. One that’s honest, flexible, and grounded in real relationships.
Next Level is that approach. It’s not about having it all figured out. It’s about helping students take one meaningful step forward — with confidence, clarity, and people in their corner.
